Walker Books Limited is the data controller of your Information for the purposes of the Act.
INFORMATION COLLECTION
We may collect Information about you when you request any information about us or our goods or services, submit your personal details and/or complete any forms on the website.
- We will not collect any personally identifying information (such as your name, address or e-mail address) other than the Information you supply to us on a voluntary basis.
- When you order, we need to know at least your name, e-mail address, billing address, credit or debit card number and credit or debit card expiration date. This allows us to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status.
- When you subscribe to our newsletter, enter a contest or participate in a promotional feature, we may ask for your name, address, and e-mail address so we can administer the newsletter, promotion or contest and notify winners.
- We monitor site traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and layout of the site.

PROTECTING YOUR INFORMATION AND YOUR CARD DETAILS
We work with a company called Securetrading to process your credit and debit card payments and protect your card details. All your card details are encrypted (converted into bits of secure code) to the maximum strength supported by your browser. When you enter your card details, you are using Securetrading's secure server, which has been certified by Verisign, a public Certificate Authority designed to ensure information is kept secure. Data storage on Securetrading systems, and the communication between Securetrading and the worldwide banking networks is regularly audited by the banks themselves. Securetrading employ sophisticated firewall technology and other security best practises to ensure only legitimate access is allowed.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Our website's secure server software is designed to ensure that all of your Information is encrypted before it is transmitted over the Internet. This is designed to ensure that it cannot be read by anyone except you and our authorised staff, agents and/or contractors.
Where you are provided with a user ID password or any other piece of information as part of our security measures, you must treat such information as confidential and you must not disclose it to any other person. We have the right to disable any user ID or password and your right of access to our website at any time if, in our opinion, you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of this Agreement.
Unfortunately, the transmission of data via the internet is not completely secure.
